Tucson Meet Yourself 🌵 10/16/2026 – 10/18/2026
Join us 10/16-10/18 in downtown Tucson for the annual Tucson Meet Yourself festival. Tucson Meet Yourself is a celebration of the diverse cultures, traditions, and communities that make Southern Arizona unique! 🎉 We will be talking with visitors at our table and sharing information about the Santa Cruz Valley NHA.

Day of Connection & Caring at Verdugo Park 🌵🛠️ 10/17/2026
Join local organizations and community members at Verdugo Park for a morning of stewardship, education, and community connection as part of United Way Days of Caring. Volunteers can help clean up the Santa Cruz River, or help us connect with visitors about the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area.

We’re looking for volunteers to assist us in keeping our contacts up-to-date and/or research upcoming events and submit relevant entries to our online calendar. Become A Heritage Ambassador (Individual)
Heritage Ambassadors are our super volunteers who commit to a serving at least 10 hours per year. They are passionate about the stewardship of our region’s heritage, whether it be the conservation of our natural resources or the preservation of historic treasures and cultural traditions. Ambassadors contribute their skills, seek to expand their knowledge of our work, and represent our mission within their spheres of influence.
Or: Become A Concierge Ambassador (Organizational)
Similar to a concierge at hotels and resorts, our Concierge Ambassadors are staff or volunteers at partnering organizations that interact regularly with the public. Heritage Ambassador sites provide insider information about heritage experiences in the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area. Find out how you can become a trusted source and share your knowledge of the regional landscape, its history, and cultural connections.
