Danny Lopez Park – Trash / Buffelgrass cleanup

This trash/buffelgrass cleanup is on Sunday, April 12 from 7 – 9 am.  Ramada #7 is reserved for a (no alcohol) potluck brunch after the cleanup.  Email me for at [email protected] for more info and please copy/paste this link to sign up  https://forms.gle/kkU7mSAhQNn8c8EB7  if you would like to join.  You do not need to help with the cleanup in order to attend the potluck.  Meet at the SOUTHERN end of the lake. When you drive into the park, take the first right and follow this all the way around behind PACC until you get to the meeting spot parking.

At the April 12 potluck, Friends of Danny Lopez Park will be practicing using the iNaturalist app to help document the plants, birds, dragonflies and aquatic invertebrates around Silverbell Lake. They will use this skill on Saturday, April 25 to do a Bioblitz for the 2026 City Nature Challenge.
