Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area Approved by House
The U.S. House of Representatives approved legislation to designate the Santa Cruz Valley National Heritage Area in southern Arizona. 

Local & Heritage Foods Directory Now Available
As part of its goal to promote local and place-based foods, the Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Alliance has published a guide to the local food producers and vendors in the Santa Cruz Valley and southeastern Arizona.

Heritage Foods Program Awarded Community Grant from Food Conspiracy Co-op
The Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Alliance’s Heritage Foods Program has been awarded a $365 Community Grant from Tucson’s Food Conspiracy Co-op. 

New Online Tourism Map Highlights Regional Heritage

In an effort to encourage residents to plan day trip vacations around local heritage destinations this summer, the “Heritage Experiences” interactive mapguide allows viewers to plan outings based on their interest in 10 heritage themes or experiences that are unique to the Santa Cruz Valley.
