Become a Heritage Business Member Today!

The Heritage Business and Destination Membership program offers local “heritage” businesses an opportunity to promote their business while also supporting local efforts to promote the rich cultural and natural heritage of the Santa Cruz Valley. Your annual Heritage Business membership connects you with locals and visiting heritage tourists by offering:

  • A link to your website on Heritage Alliance website
  • Subscription to our bi-annual print newsletter
  • Article or advertisement in our print newsletter
  • Advertising in our monthly Heritage Business e-newsletter. In addition to our regular e-news sent to our mailing list monthly, we've created a monthly e-news alert specifically to market our Heritage Business members. These emails can include events at your business, sample recipes, coupons, discounts, or specials, and a live link to your website. We will check in with you each month (or at your request) to see what you would like featured, and the email will go out on the 1st of each month.
  • Listing on our exhibit table at community events - Heritage Business Members will be listed and featured on our exhibit table at community events throughout the year. Your brochure can also be displayed at our exhibit table at each of these events.
  • Priority consideration as a venue for our events.

* Heritage Foods & Dining eligibility: Businesses must use, prepare, grow, or feature local or heritage foods. Heritage foods can be described as “locally produced foods tied to the region’s history and cultural identity.” This definition provides for the promotion of wild desert food products, historically cultivated crops, foods that are culturally unique to this region, and modern crops that continue the agricultural traditions of the Santa Cruz Valley. This includes local farmers, ranchers and gardeners, value-added products such as local honey or prickly pear products, grocery stores that sell local foods, or restaurants that highlight local and heritage foods on their menu.
