The Santa Cruz Valley Heritage Alliance and Bean Tree Farm invite you to a special spring gathering! Please join us for a causal morning touring a wild foods farm and tasting place-based heritage foods.
Bean Tree Farm is located in a 20-acre saguaro and ironwood forest conservation area and “eco-logical” community, where farmer and designer Barbara Rose harvests, cares for, and teaches about Sonoran Desert perennial edible plants, herbs, and more!
Directions and address will be provided with receipt of payment.
HEAR about the wild heritage foods of southern Arizona’s Santa Cruz Valley!
SEE edible plants in their native environment and tour Bean Tree Farm!
TASTE heritage foods harvested from Bean Tree Farm. Snacks will include prickly pear punch, seedy salsas, cheeky chutneys, mesquite cookies, and more.
